Paolo Roversi | Palais Galliera 2024 🔴

Out of stock
Published in connection with the exhibition held at the Palais Galliera from 16 March to 14 July 2024, this book accompanies a major institutional presentation of Paolo Roversi’s work.
Working primarily in the studio with a large-format camera and Polaroid, Roversi developed a singular visual language defined by slowness, stillness and intimacy. Encounters and long-term collaborations lie at the heart of his work, notably with Yohji Yamamoto, Romeo Gigli, Rei Kawakubo and the House of Dior. Each collaboration becomes a space for renewal rather than repetition.
The book accompanying the exhibition was conceived and designed in close collaboration with the artist, reflecting the continuity of his photographic world rather than a chronological survey.

In Roversi’s photographs, fashion seems to step outside its own time. Detached from trends yet unmistakably part of fashion, his images feel as if they emerge from a world of their own.
