Antwerpse Mode 6+ was originally published in connection with an exhibition held at the Flemish Parliament in 2007, in collaboration with MoMu. The publication documents the context and impact of the Antwerp Six and their extended circle, bringing together archival material that remains relevant well beyond its moment of publication.
The book includes reproductions of articles, publications and photographs related to Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Bikkembergs, Marina Yee and Dirk Van Saene.
My Opinion
Never judge a book by its cover, they say. Yet this one drew me in instantly — and once opened, it stayed with me. An insightful look into the Antwerp Six, enriched with imagery, press material and context. A compelling reference for those interested in Belgian designers, and in particular the Antwerp Six. Now out of print, and increasingly difficult to find.
Condition
In good condition. Two small black dots on the linen spine.

This book is rare and out of print.
Beyond the original six, the “+” reflects a broader network of designers, photographers and make-up artists, many of whom remain active today. Rather than presenting a retrospective narrative, the book situates Antwerp fashion within a wider cultural and institutional framework.
