To Recollect is about finding rather than searching — recognising something at the right moment, and letting it move on again.
Artisanal work holds memory in its making and in how it is lived with over time. Time, hand and intention are part of what gives these pieces their character and presence.
In a culture of constant production and quick replacement, choosing quality becomes an act of attention. Allowing such work to circulate keeps that memory alive, present and in use. It makes room for continued enjoyment, rather than storage or accumulation.
What To Recollect is
To Recollect is a personal collection that has formed over time, and continues to form every day. Pre-owned garments, bags, shoes, books and printed matter — other kinds may follow.
Some pieces have been with me for decades, others only briefly. They were found in different places — at auctions, in shops, at fairs — without a plan, but with a clear sense of recognition.
Second-hand has, in many ways, become a mass environment. I do not place these pieces with a second-hand retailer, where they would disappear among many. They remain part of my surroundings — close, and lived with. I offer them here, in a way that feels natural to me.
Availability changes. The collection follows its own pace.
How to order
Items originate from a private collection and are offered in their current condition. Traces of time, use or age are considered part of their character.
Each piece is described and photographed with care to provide a clear understanding before purchase.
Questions are welcome and encouraged prior to purchase, as items are not eligible for return once sold.
Orders can be placed directly through the website via secure payment. You will receive a confirmation after purchase.
For orders outside the EU, any customs duties or import taxes are not included and remain the responsibility of the buyer.
For those who prefer, selected items may also be available via Vinted, where purchases include buyer protection.
Some pieces have been sold and remain visible, marked with a small 🔴.
How shipping works
Shipping is calculated individually, based on destination and weight.
At the moment, we ship to Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, USA, Japan, Singapore, China and Hong Kong.
Orders are dispatched within 1–3 working days via courier, with tracking and signature upon delivery.
Delivery times may vary depending on destination.
Return Policy
Items are not eligible for return once sold, so questions are welcome and encouraged prior to purchase. If you would like additional details or images, feel free to get in touch.
