To Recollect

Pre-Owned Designer Pieces

Nothing is new. Everything is singular.

A personal collection centred on fashion and its printed expressions, including pieces from earlier designer collections, no longer in production.

Made by hand — with time, skill and attention. Objects that carry the trace of how they were made, and how they were used. Materials soften, surfaces change, pages hold what has been seen and handled. These are not static objects, but works that have moved through time. Recollecting them allows that movement to continue.

Pieces are sourced through auctions, private collections and specialised boutiques. What appears varies over time. At moments the selection is extensive, at others more restrained. The collection develops gradually, shaped by what is encountered and recognised along the way.

Garments and footwear, books related to fashion and art, and exhibition posters and printed matter. Each piece belongs to a wider history of design, image and authorship.
